Human male, approximately 30 years old, gaunt and tall with high, prominent cheekbones and pale, clammy skin. His dark-brown hair is long, matted, and wild, falling around his shoulders. His eyes are completely covered and pressed shut beneath a thick, filthy linen cloth wrap stained with dried mud and river water. His hands are calloused and slender, showing a prominent nervous tremor.

A heavily worn, tattered traditional Ukrainian sheepskin-lined wool coat (kozhukh) in shades of faded mildew green and wet slate gray, patched with coarse thread. Beneath it, he wears loose, dark-grey linen trousers caked in dried mud at the cuffs, and old, waterlogged dark-brown leather boots with frayed straps.
