Single-storey horizontal timber log house with a pitched shingle gable roof, roof ridge running left-to-right parallel to the front facade. About eight paces wide by six paces deep, standing three heads above a grown man at the roof ridge. Four narrow square window openings (two on the front wall, two on the side walls), and one central heavy wooden plank door standing two low wooden steps above ground level. Both sides and rear rest on damp forest soil surrounded by dead briars, with a worn dirt footpath leading directly onto the two front entrance steps. Weathered grey-brown oak timber, green damp moss along lower log courses, dark soot stains around window frames.
